Terms & Conditions

DEFINITIONS
In these Terms and Conditions the following definitions apply:-
The Consultant/Black Book Events means person(s)

The Client means the person or company purchasing the services of the Consultant (including any officer, employee or agent thereof) introduced to the client by the Consultant.

Consultants) means individual(s) introduced to the client.

The term Fee/billing means moneys charged to the client for services provided.
THE CONTRACT

These terms and conditions constitute a contract for services between The Consultant/Black Book Events and the Client.

These Terms and Conditions are deemed to be accepted by the Client on engagement of consultant(s)

No variation or alteration of these Terms and Conditions shall be valid unless approved in writing and authorised by Black Book Events

The consultant(s) will make every effort to inform client(s) of any delays as early as possible. The Consultant will not be held responsible for non attendance to planned events where client has not notified Black Book Events of any change in date or venue including miss calculations of attendees to planned events.

The CLIENT AGREES

(a) To pay fee(s) as outlined

(e) To pay the agreed amount for the menu selected

(f) To pay for all additional service(s) requested and be responsible for any cancellations for
these Services

(g) To pay Deposit being 50% of total amount catering only (this fee is non refundable)

(h) To be responsible at all times for, equipment hired.

(i) Black Book Events shall not accept liability under any circumstances for any loss, damage
expenses suffered or incurred by the Client arising directly or indirectly from any act or omission
of information by client. Nor shall the Consultant accept liability for any delays as a result of
Client(s)/Third parities.

(J) Should Client(s) cancel an event the cancellation rules shall apply

(k) Travel expenses (not including day to day travel) accommodation cost will be born by the
client(s) where applicable.

PAYMENT
Once your event, additional service has been booked and confirmed, Black Book Events will require a deposit which is non refundable. The remainder of fee is due two weeks prior to your event date.
Billing is via invoice. Payment is via Paypal non refundable deposit of £……………..is due on signing of contract. The remainder will become due two weeks before event date.

Venue Hire
Black Book Events is obliged to adhere to the venue terms and conditions that you or it may have hired in respect fire regulations, operating licence etc. However Black Book Events will not be held responsible in part or whole for any damages incurred by you or your guest including that of any other service provider that you or Black Book Events hire on your behalf..

Cancellation

Should you need to cancel your event the following conditions will apply

(a) You must telephone Black Book Events as soon as possible, then confirm your call by sending an
e-mail to Black Book Events quoting your reference number

(b) Your event will be deemed be cancelled when you receive an acknowledgement from
Black Book Events in writing via e-mail.

(c) Where you have requested additional services i.e. waiter/waitress florists/bar/cloakroom
staff/entertainment etc you will become responsible solely for any cancellation fee(s) that is due
under the terms of those providers.

Tasters

Taster fees are not refundable under any circumstances. Tasters are booked four days in advance.

NB. Fees not paid in full 2 weeks prior to event date will, result in cancellation.
